Birmingham born, Nick moved with his family to a small riverside town in Worcestershire over 40 years ago where he still resides with his wife Cheryl and dog Alfie.
Whilst pursuing a career in market development within the International shipping industry he found relaxation in writing fiction, both novels and radio plays. The desire for publication didn’t come until later life when, as his children reached adulthood, he enjoyed more free time.
He brings to his stories a wealth of information and detail from his other many hobbies which include big boat sailing (he is a licensed RYA Coastal Skipper), and long distance walking. He also attended a four year evening class course at the University of Birmingham to gain a Certificate of Higher Education in British Archaeology.
His interest in art and music is evident in his novels and he speaks with some authority on medieval and renaissance composers. His philosophy instilled in him by parents who read avidly is that if you gain just one new fact from every book you read you will end up a more interesting person.
Nick has three published novels which are currently available via a number of outlets, and is currently writing his fourth.
Nick currently enjoys a full life pursuing his interests with an infectious vigour, and spends as much time as possible with his grandchildren.
